The Adventures of Wilma, the Magic Cat: A new fantasy audio drama podcast: Episode 1: Wilma Finds a Home

I've recently become interested in audio drama. Thus, I've created an audio drama version of  Wilma, the Magic Cat called Wilma finds a Home.

This new podcast is written and performed by myself, Paul Michael Mosher.

The link to the mp3 version of Wilma Find a Home is https://ia801508.us.archive.org/12/items/WilmaFindsAHome/WilmaFindsAHome.mp3 .

Join Wilma and her new friends as she struggles to save the mystic forest.

This podcast has a 2016 copyright.   All non-textual materials used to make this podcast, such as cover art, music and sound effects, are in the public domain. The theme music is a remix from a midi file created from an unaccredited vbr.m3u file of Greensleeves by Mozart found on The Internet Archive at archive.org in the community audio section. The cover art is compiled by myself using Persian Cat found at Wotcat.com. The Sound Effects are from FreeSound.org, FreeSFX.co.uk, Sounddog.com, Soundjay.com, Wavsource.com, and YouTube. If you enjoyed this podcast, please leave a review or ratings with itunes.

Episode 001: Wilma, The Magic Cat Show Notes

Wilma, The Magic Cat is a fantasy fairy short story written years ago for a creative writing class. My instructor suggested submitting it for publication, but of course it sat on a compact disk for a very long time. I recently became a fan of podcasts, and it occurred to me that Wilma was perfect as a first venture into this medium.

The story concerns three sisters who rescue a cat and the adventure that ensues as a result. No spoilers; so listen to the podcast to find out what happens.

The podcast was released on September 10, 2014 on The Internet Archive at archive.org. Hopefully, it will be on itunes and elsewhere soon. I'm investigating various means to promote the podcast and will make some decisions concerning the various possibilities soon.

Now for the obligatory information:

Wilma, The Magic Cat

New RSS Feed

Feedburner, Blogger, and the Internet Archive were not playing nice with a successful submission to the iTunes podcast section; so I've created a version for Podcast Garden.

If all goes well, Wilma, The Magic Cat will soon be available on iTunes. I'll be submitting to other appropriate sites soon.
